Riyadh Gets a New flyadeal Route to India

Saudi Arabia’s low-cost airline flyadeal is adding Mumbai to its growing India network, with five weekly flights between Riyadh and Mumbai set to launch on Saturday, 3 October. The new service will add over 7,400 seats every month between the two cities.

The Saudia Group low-cost carrier has already opened bookings for the route, which will become flyadeal’s second destination in India after the launch of flights to Hyderabad in July.

Flights will operate on Sundays, Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, with the airline using Airbus A320neo aircraft featuring an all-Economy Class cabin with 186 seats.

According to flyadeal’s published schedule, flights from Riyadh will depart at 12.55 am and arrive in Mumbai at 7.40 am. The return flight will leave Mumbai at 8.40 am and reach Riyadh at 10.15 am. Ticket prices for the new route have not yet been announced.

The timings also offer convenient onward connections through Riyadh to destinations including Jeddah, Madinah, and Dammam, making the route useful for both leisure and business travellers, as well as those travelling onwards within Saudi Arabia.

On board, passengers will fly on the A320neo, which features Airbus’ Airspace cabin interior and facilities such as larger overhead storage bins.

Mumbai marks another step in flyadeal’s expansion across India, a market the airline has identified as a priority for its international growth. The carrier described the new route as an important link between two major commercial centres, with Mumbai attracting travellers from Saudi Arabia for both business and leisure.

The airline has said it plans to continue expanding its Indian network while adding more international destinations as part of Saudia Group’s wider growth strategy.
