Riyadh’s dining scene is about to welcome a very familiar name. Chipotle is officially heading to Saudi Arabia, with the Mexican-inspired favourite set to open its first restaurant in the Kingdom later this month.
The new opening will be at Sidra, next to Granada Mall, adding another international name to one of Riyadh’s growing dining and lifestyle destinations. While an exact opening date has yet to be announced, fans of the brand will not have to wait much longer.
The menu follows Chipotle’s signature build-your-own format, giving diners plenty of room to customise their orders. Choose from burritos, bowls, tacos, quesadillas, and salads, then layer in proteins, rice, beans, salsas, and toppings to suit your mood.
Chipotle’s hand-mashed guacamole will be making the move to Riyadh too, ready to be added generously to just about anything on the menu.
The restaurant will also feature the brand’s open kitchen setup, meaning diners can watch everything come together in front of them as they make their way along the counter.
For anyone who already has a go-to Chipotle order, or has been wondering what all the fuss is about, Riyadh’s newest opening is one to have on the radar.
Chipotle Riyadh is Part of a Wider Regional Expansion

The opening of Chipotle Riyadh comes as the brand continues to grow across the Middle East with Alshaya Group. Since entering the region in 2024, the brand has opened 16 restaurants, including locations in the UAE, Kuwait and Qatar.
Now, Saudi Arabia is joining the list, with the Kingdom’s capital getting the first taste. For audiences who have been following Chipotle’s Middle East expansion, the opening will be a chance to finally get the brand’s Mexican bites without venturing elsewhere.
For anyone new to it, Chipotle Riyadh is set to be a new casual dining option worth adding to the capital’s ever-growing food scene.
