Saudi Arabia is getting ready to turn green once again, with the Kingdom’s 96th National Day taking place on Wednesday, 23 September 2026. Alongside the usual celebrations, decorations and events, this year comes with a new official identity and a slogan that puts the spotlight on the qualities that shape the country.
Announced by Turki Alalshikh, chairman of the General Entertainment Authority (GEA), the Saudi National Day 2026 theme is “Our Pride Lies in Our Nature”. The slogan is a nod to Saudi Arabia’s heritage while reflecting the country’s modern outlook and continued growth.
What Does the Saudi National Day 2026 Identity Represent?
The new identity builds on last year’s visual direction. There are six illustrations that represent qualities closely associated with Saudi Arabia. These include authenticity, courage, determination, generosity, hospitality and vision.
Each trait is brought to life through symbols inspired by Saudi culture and history, giving the identity a distinctly local feel while keeping the overall look contemporary.
The slogan itself uses bold, block-like lettering to create a visual that feels modern while still drawing on the idea of heritage, national pride and unity.
Where Will the National Day Identity be Seen?
The identity is expected to become a familiar sight across Saudi Arabia as Saudi National Day 2026 approaches. Government bodies, private companies and non-profit organisations are required to follow the official guidelines when using the identity for National Day events, campaigns and communications.
That means the look and slogan will likely appear across everything, from event spaces and city decorations to social media campaigns and promotional materials.
The GEA has also made the official guidelines and identity files available for organisations looking to use them as part of their National Day activities.
For residents, that means the countdown to Saudi National Day will soon start becoming visible all around the Kingdom. If previous years are anything to go by, there will be plenty of opportunities to get involved, celebrate and soak up the atmosphere.
