Schools across Saudi Arabia are expanding their digital services, giving students, parents and teachers more ways to manage school-related tasks and stay connected without needing to visit campus for routine matters.
The Ministry of Education has brought these services together through its Unified Education Portal, creating a central platform for academic, communication and administrative needs.
Students and parents can use the portal to keep track of homework, periodic tests and other assignments. This makes it easier for families to stay updated with progress through the academic year.
The platform also includes a messaging service that allows parents to contact teachers and school administrators directly. This provides a simpler way to handle everyday questions, follow-ups and other school-related communication.
Students Now Have Digital ID Cards
One of the new services is an official digital student ID card containing key details such as the student’s name, nationality, identity number, school and grade. The card also features a QR code, allowing authorised parties to verify a student’s information electronically when identification is required.
The digital ID is part of Saudi Arabia’s wider push to expand digital education services as schools prepare for the new academic year.
The Unified Education Portal also provides access to services including school bus registration, transferring students between schools, registering guardians and completing procedures for students who have enrolled into a new school.
Together, these services are designed to make everyday school administration more convenient while giving families and educators a more direct way to manage academic matters and communicate with each other.
